

PAUL GLASS
Paul Glass is a founding member of Southern Insights. Paul has a proven track record of winning elections in Alabama.
In 1989, Paul joined the Guy Hunt re-election campaign for Governor as Deputy Finance Director. Paul helped to raise over $5 Million which was the most ever raised by a gubernatorial candidate at that time. Hunt was re-elected in 1990. Paul also served as Governor Hunt’s Confidential Assistant from 1991-1993.
In 1994, Paul led the fundraising efforts to take the Alabama Supreme Court with Karl Rove. His efforts led to the election of Chief Justice Perry Hooper. Hooper became the first Republican elected to the Supreme Court in a century. Also in 1994, Paul served as Campaign Manager for Congressman Spencer Bachus. Bachus was re-elected by the largest margin in the country.
In 1996, Paul served as the Finance Director for the Alabama Republican Party Victory 1996 program. The Alabama Republican Party set a record for the most money raised in Republican Party history. Paul also served as Finance Director for Jim Sullivan for Public Service Commission President. Sullivan was re-elected.
1n 1998, Paul ran the statewide ballot security program for the Alabama Republican Party. Republicans won five statewide races by less than 8000 votes in 1998 due to ballot security.
In 2000, Paul consulted on the fundraising effort for Chief Justice Roy Moore after the Republican Primary. Moore was elected in 2000.
In 2002, Paul served as a fundraising consultant to the Session-ALGOP Committee, Congressman Terry Everett and Lt. Governor Candidate Bill Armistead. Senator Sessions and Congressman Terry Everett were re-elected overwhelmingly.
In 2004, Paul served as fundraising consultant to Tom Parker, candidate for Alabama Supreme Court. Parker was elected in 2004 making the Supreme Court 100% Republican, the first time in state history.
Paul is a graduate of Tulane University and has a Juris Doctorate from Jones School of Law.
Paul is the proud father of one son.
